Babysitting

When my aunty Terri came down I got to babysit my cousins Lucas, Levi, Sydney and my sister Suzannah. But my aunty and my mom had to go shopping. She couldn’t find anyone to babysit so I was the first to volunteer to babysit all of the kids. It was really fun but it was really hard changing diapers. It smelled like horse poo, but a little worse then the horse poo. It looked like it came out of the sewer. It sounded weird also the baby was crying. It was hard because he was squirming around. I had to cook, give baths and do a lot of other stuff. When they came back they said I can take a break but I said ‘No because it’s fun!’ When my mom and aunty was cooking I felt proud of myself so I had a little party but while I was still babysitting mom told me to change the diaper again but I said it stinks like horse poo and sewer, but I did it anyway but it was fun babysitting all the kids. I took them for walks down to the park. It was a long day babysitting but I had the most fun ever before in my life.

In Rapid City
     By Savannah
One day when I got off school and went in the house my mom and dad said that we are going to Rapid City so I said “Are you serious?” My dad said, “Yes”. So I said, “Let’s get packing then.” So we did. When we were going we were already by Kadoka. We saw my aunty Linda and grandpa Francis by Wall. She waved us down so we stopped. She gave me some money so I said “Thank you!” Then they left so we were almost there. We mostly rode around Rapid City. We got a hotel room and ordered pizza. When we were done eating the pizza we went downstairs to go swimming. While we were swimming I said “Its fun here in Rapid City”! Then we went back to the room and got cleaned up and went to sleep.
